Payroll Administrator
Job details
Full job description
Brightside Holdings is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our Burnaby team.
About Brightside Holdings
Brightside Holdings is an established, diversified company with 60 locations spanning British Columbia’s Lower Mainland. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Burnaby, we operate across several lines of business with the structure of a larger operator and the local presence of an independent.
About the role
You'll process payroll accurately and on time, every cycle: collecting and validating timesheets, calculating earnings, overtime, and statutory deductions, and administering benefits and garnishments. You'll remit source deductions to the CRA on schedule, prepare Records of Employment and year-end T4s, reconcile payroll accounts against the general ledger, and answer employee pay questions with patience and precision. Legislative changes to employment standards and tax tables are yours to track and apply.
What you'll bring
You bring hands-on payroll experience, meticulous accuracy under recurring deadlines, and absolute discretion with compensation data. You know Canadian payroll rules well enough to catch errors before employees do, and you treat every pay question, however small, as worth a careful answer.
Apply with a current resume and a few sentences about why this role interests you. Shortlisted candidates hear back within a week.

- 2+ years of Canadian payroll processing experience

- RRSP matching to 4% of base
- $500 annual professional-development budget
